Hey! I’ve looked into this myself, so here’s what I’ve gathered about getting an internship at L&T Construction, especially if you’re interested in deep excavations, tunneling, and road construction:
🛠️ Eligibility & Timing
They usually take in B.Tech students from Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical backgrounds—preferably in 3rd or 4th year. A decent CGPA (around 7+) helps, but what really matters is your interest in core construction domains.
📩 How to Apply
There are a few ways to go about it:
Selection Process
They might conduct a group discussion, followed by technical and HR interviews. Brush up on your basics—especially geotechnical engineering, transportation, and construction methods.
🏗️ Project Areas
Since you’re into deep excavation and tunneling, mention that clearly. L&T has worked on metro rail tunnels (like CMRL, Mumbai Metro), highways, and smart city infra. If you show genuine interest in these areas, it’ll stand out.
💰 Duration & Perks
Internships usually last 8–12 weeks. Some are paid (₹10k–₹30k/month), and you’ll get a certificate at the end. More importantly, you’ll learn from real engineers on actual sites.
